HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017: A COMPLETE 7-POINT SUCCESS MANTRA FOR YOU TO BE HAPPY THIS NEW YEAR! – SATYAJIT ROY

– Satyajit Roy

Be it a ruined relationship or a grudge against a friend who betrayed you, it is time for you to let go of all such negativity as swiftly as you can and embrace the New Year with a new hope and serenity.

2016 went by in a jiffy! And, here we are; all set to welcome the New Year 2017. While we are just few weeks away from starting afresh, there are some things that we need to put away with this passing year.

hny2017

We bring to you a list 7 things you should leave behind by the end of 2016.

  1. A Toxic Relationship

Let us admit it that nobody is perfect and we are all messed up! The past will always haunt you but don’t let your ruined relationship ruin you. Let go the person and to whatever he or she has done to you; move the heck on. Understand that it was probably the circumstances that led them to mess it all up. But hey, that doesn’t mean you should go back to it moving ahead. Start anew. There are so many new things to look forward to in 2017, aren’t they?

  2. Memories

There are people who may have given you memories for a lifetime, this year. Don’t let go of such people; moreover cling on to those memories forever. The person might not be there with you (now) always but the memories will be with you till the end of eternity. But then there are people who have been a pain in the arse and haven’t given you great memories. You need to chuck them out of your life, soon!

  3. Bitterness

If you have a grudge against someone who has treated you in the crappiest way ever, it is high time that you release any kind of such emotion you behold for that person and bid adieu by wishing good for him or her!

  4. Rules!

Allow yourself to be free! Make a decision that you wouldn’t follow rules and just follow your heart and you will never ever regret this decision. A quick tip- Follow principles and not rules!

  5. Negativity

Give up on people, things, or relationships that bring in too much negativity along with them. You are so much more than what they think of you to be. So this New Year, smash that negativity and surround yourself with people who are optimistic and cheery.

  6. Drama

Why not strive to have a drama-free life? Although it is practically impossible to get rid of all the drama when it comes to dealing with family, friends, or peers; try to score some advice online and learn to do away with all the pointless drama! Nobody loves melodrama, do you?

  7. Fear

Fear of rejection or fear of spiders – overcome your fears! This New Year, it is big time you root out every single fear that dwells in you and makes you weak. In 2017, all you need to do is to aim and begin to make such life changes. As Karl Marx rightly said, “There comes a time in your life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy.”
